UMDA observes the 7th Amsterdam International Dance Competition in the Netherlands

Recently, UMDA observed the 7th Amsterdam International Dance Competition in the Netherlands. During this period, I had in-depth exchanges with numerous international dance artists.

The Amsterdam International Dance Competition is the most important international ballet and modern dance competition in the Netherlands. The competition provides an opportunity for dance schools, dance teachers, young choreographers, and young dancers to gather together in a friendly and competitive atmosphere, learn from each other, and inspire each other.

Although the competition is the most important activity, the opportunity to attend master classes and meet other dancers from around the world also makes the entire event experience very enriching. The competition itself has multiple categories, including solo, duet, and group dance, ballet, modern/contemporary dance, and a category specifically designed for choreography.

In addition to the competition section, it also includes master classes taught by ballet and modern dance masters. The multicultural atmosphere of Amsterdam combined with the inspiring activities of the competition allowed dancers and teachers to reap the greatest rewards on this special weekend. The competition is open to participants from all countries and backgrounds.

The purpose of the competition is to provide an opportunity for dancers, dance schools, and dance teachers to gather together in a friendly and competitive atmosphere, learn from each other, and inspire each other. In addition, it aims to inspire and encourage communication between dancers, teachers, and dance schools from different countries. The awards provided provide special opportunities for dancers and contribute to their development.
